COVID-19 (Coronavirus) January 2021 Update

Following the recent ‘stay at home’ and lockdown orders issued on 4th January 2021, we are continuing to offer as full a range of services for our patients as possible, while adhering to COVID-19 safety guidelines.

As a practice, we have been working in the ‘new normal’ for some time and will continue to do so. We will be providing the same high-quality services with the same friendly, caring people, just delivered in a slightly different way.

We are working in smaller teams to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and therefore lead times for appointments may be a little longer than usual. Please bear with us at this time – we will do our best to make your appointment as smooth as possible.

Guidance for attending your appointment:

To keep everyone safe, when you book an appointment, we will confirm the arrangement for when you arrive and will advise on how we're maintaining social distancing. This will include measures such as:

  • Being asked to wait in your car until your appointment
  • Remaining 2m apart
  • Advising that clients wear face coverings where possible
  • Asking that all clients use hand sanitiser and/or wash their hands in the basin in the toilet next to reception when entering and leaving the Practice
  • Screens have been positioned at our reception desks, and our teams will be wearing masks and/or visors

When you arrive at the Practice, you will notice that the car park bays are numbered. If you could remember the bay number you have parked in please and make the customer care team member aware of this when you check-in. Please be advised that we are only allowing 2 clients into the reception at any one time.

If your pet is happy and it is not too warm, please leave them in the car while you come into the Practice to let us know you have arrived.

We are asking clients to queue (maintaining 2-metre distances) outside the Practice. One of our lovely customer care team will call you in when it is safe to do so.

To ensure we can maintain that important 2-metre distance, we are only allowing two clients into the reception area at a time.

Once you have checked in, you will be asked to wait in your car for your appointment. Your vet will then come and collect your pet from your car and take them into the Practice for their appointment. The vet will discuss your pet's appointment over the phone or speak to you in the car park regarding any treatments that your pet requires.

We have made these changes as our patients, clients, and our team's health and well-being is our number one priority.

Thank you for your continued understanding during this time. We remain committed to delivering the best care for your pet, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
