SabineTA CertVOphthal MRCVS
I qualified from Giessen in Germany in 1999, and after working in mixed practice for three years, moved to the UK in December 2002. I was lucky to experience living and working in several parts of the country before settling in Kent in 2005 to focus on small animal practice, as an emergency and critical care vet. I am interested in all aspects of medicine and surgery, but have a couple of special interests: I gained an advanced qualification in veterinary ophthalmology in 2011 and also practise acupuncture to help pets manage chronic pain.
I was delighted to join the Sandhole Vets team in 2017 - I was initially attracted to the practice because of its high standards and ethical and welfare views, not to mention the lovely and resourceful team!
Outside work, my favourite hobbies are rock climbing and sea kayaking.
