I qualified from Nottingham Vet School in 2015, having previously obtained a degree in Bioveterinary Science at the University of Liverpool. I began my career as a small animal vet in the Midlands, but when the opportunity arose to move closer to my family and start a new chapter at Sandhole, I jumped at the chance!

My favourite part of being a vet is meeting people, making a positive difference in the lives of my clients and their pets. Like everybody in the team at Sandhole, I have a passion for animal welfare and strive to make every visit to the practice as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Whilst I love working with all animals, I must admit to being a bit of a crazy cat lady - I have never been without a feline companion and my aim is to specialise in feline medicine. But for now, I am very much enjoying being a small animal general practitioner - there are always plenty of interesting cases!

My husband Michael is also a vet and we share our home with two naughty rescue cats, Bobbin and Pickle. Outside work, I love nothing more than watching a Disney film, reading a good book, or trying to be creative by pottery painting, gluten-free baking and jewellery making.
