Despite the fact that I have always wanted to be a vet, you could say that my route to becoming one was a little unconventional - I obtained a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters in Japanese before graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. I particularly enjoy working with cats (though I have a very soft spot for sighthounds too) and plan on studying for a Feline Medicine certificate in the future to further my skills and knowledge.

I worked in small animal practice in London for several years before moving out to the Kent coast in 2017. When a vacancy for a vet came up in August 2018, I jumped at the chance to work at Sandhole as I had referred lots of cases here previously and had always been very impressed with the ethos and professionalism of everyone in the team.

I share my home with Marvin the cat and Bosco the rescue lurcher, and in my spare time I enjoy cooking (and eating!), gardening, studying Japanese and watching F1.
