Before qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 I worked as a veterinary nurse at practices in Orpington (my home town) and London. I joined the Sandhole team in 2012, and within two years I had also taken on responsibility for managing the nursing team, encouraging each to pursue areas of individual interest. From very early on it was obvious that the love and compassion that all the staff here have, puts Sandhole leagues above any of the practices I have worked at in the past, either as a vet or a nurse.

I have a keen interest in surgery (including orthopaedics) and am proud to be one of only a few vets in the country to hold the BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Away from work I enjoy travelling and have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro - I love exploring new places (which I am now mostly doing by motorbike). I also enjoy listening to live music and comedy, and any other spare time is spent re-decorating the house I share with my much-loved rescue cat Herman.
