After flying long haul cabin crew for fourteen years, at the end of 2018 I decided it was time to have my wings clipped and embark on a new journey; this time within the veterinary world.
I have always loved animals and nature, but it was not until shortly after moving to Kent, when I found myself rescuing Mavis (a very moody Persian), that my house finally came to feel like a home. Having experienced excellent care first hand from the Sandhole team (both for Mavis and for me) I jumped at the chance to become part of the team. On a plane, or helping an animal in pain - providing customers with great care is all in a day's work!
I am slowly getting to know my new county of Kent - a real highlight so far was winning a cheetah experience at the big cat sanctuary in Headcorn.
