BeccaRegistered Veterinary Nurse
I became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016 after studying at the Royal Veterinary College in London, and graduated from university with a BSc (Hons) degree the following year.
Right from when I knew I wanted to work with animals, I was drawn to Sandhole, and have now come full circle, from undertaking work experience there at aged 16, to completing many nursing placements throughout my degree, and now being a fully qualified RVN!
The Sandhole atmosphere is like a family, and it's amazing being part of such a supportive team. I enjoy all aspects of being a nurse, but I particularly enjoy Nurse Clinics and have recently completed a course relating to nursing the diabetic patient. I'm looking to complete my Masters degree in the future, and love nothing more than getting stuck in to new challenges at work!
After completing a large part of my practical training at Sandhole, and benefiting from some amazing coaching, I'm proud to now be a Clinical Coach myself for the student nurses here at Sandhole.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog Milly, and going to the gym.
